Rig Security emerged from stealth on September 29, 2026 with a $12 million seed round as the Tel Aviv-based startup moved to protect human, machine and AI-agent identities. The company said the financing will help it expand research, engineering, and its U.S. go-to-market effort as it sells software for identity security posture management and identity threat detection and response.
Rig Security emerged from stealth on September 29, 2026 with a $12 million seed round to build an identity protection platform for human, machine, and AI-agent identities. The Tel Aviv-based cybersecurity startup said the financing will support research and engineering, expansion of its U.S. go-to-market team, and more work with partners and channels.
Rig says enterprises face an identity problem when AI agents act through existing human or service accounts. The company said coding assistants, autonomous agents and automation tools do not log in as themselves, but borrow the identity of the account that launched them, which can make an agent deleting a production database look identical to the account owner in audit logs and SIEMs. Rig says its platform is designed to discover AI agents running on endpoints, distinguish their activity from the human or machine identity they are operating through, and enforce policy on what they are allowed to do.
Who led Rig Security’s seed round?
Rig Security’s seed round was co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Brightmind Partners. The round also included strategic participation from the CrowdStrike Falcon Fund and backing from Wiz co-founder Ami Luttwak, along with other cybersecurity founders and executives, according to the company. Israel Defense separately reported the same core investor lineup, and SecurityWeek said the round also included a range of angel investors.
Rig announced the stealth exit and financing through Business Wire, which was republished on Yahoo Finance. Calcalist reported that Rig actually closed the seed round in late 2025, shortly after the company was founded, while the public announcement came in late September.
What does Rig Security say its platform does?
Rig says its platform delivers identity security posture management and identity threat detection and response across AI and non-human identities from one platform. The company says it deploys agentlessly in minutes, with optional endpoint sensors added where runtime attribution and policy enforcement are needed.
Rig says those sensors help it identify AI agents on endpoints, separate their activity from the human or machine identity being used, and connect each action to a single graph spanning cloud, on-premises, and identity-provider environments. SecurityWeek identified the two main technical pieces as RICE, Rig’s identity-correlation engine, and Bifrost, its endpoint sensor.
Rig says the RICE identity-correlation engine was built by a Harvard alumni research team and is in the patent process. The company said RICE resolves the same identity across identity providers, cloud infrastructure, on-premises systems, network edges, and endpoints with more than 96% accuracy, based on internal testing. Rig said the research behind RICE produced five inventions.
The second component, Bifrost, is Rig’s lightweight endpoint sensor. Rig says it can block a rogue or misused agent’s risky action before it reaches the cloud without disrupting the person whose identity was borrowed.
Which customers and scale did Rig disclose?
Rig said it is already in production with Fortune 200 organizations in financial services, insurance, healthcare, and technology. It also cited New American Funding as a customer, with the lender’s AVP of Digital Identity saying Rig shows which agents are operating, whose access they use, and how to control their actions.
At launch, Rig said it had grown to 20 employees and was protecting tens of millions of identity activities. Calcalist separately reported that the company analyzes and protects hundreds of millions of identity events and access signals each month and also said Rig planned to expand its team in both Israel and the U.S. over the coming year.
Rig said its product is available on AWS Marketplace and CrowdStrike Marketplace. The company also said it was one of two runners-up in the 2025 AWS and CrowdStrike Cybersecurity Startup Accelerator presented with NVIDIA Inception.
What will Rig Security do with the funding?
Rig said the new capital will go toward more research and engineering, especially detection and enforcement, as well as U.S. go-to-market expansion and partner/channel investment. SecurityWeek reported the same planned uses of proceeds in its coverage of the round.
The startup was founded in 2025 and is based in Tel Aviv. Calcalist identified CEO Guy Kozliner as a former Wiz CTO-team member under Ami Luttwak, and Business Wire said he previously worked on Luttwak’s team at Wiz, where the company helped pioneer a graph-based cloud security approach. Rig’s leadership team also includes CTO Nokky Goren and Head of Product Michal Haikov.
