French cybersecurity startup Fleuret AI said on October 5, 2026 that it closed a €4 million pre-seed round led by RAISE Ventures, with participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind Capital, Better Angle and cybersecurity business angels. The Paris-based company says its platform uses agentic AI to automate penetration testing and move security testing from one-off audits toward continuous monitoring.
French cybersecurity startup Fleuret AI said on October 5, 2026 that it closed a €4 million pre-seed round led by RAISE Ventures. The round also included Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind Capital, Better Angle and cybersecurity-sector business angels, according to the company.
Fleuret describes itself as a platform for automating penetration testing with agentic AI. In its announcement, the company said its product is designed to shift pentesting from one-off audits to continuous security, and that its agents operate from Europe on European infrastructure to address sovereignty requirements in regulated sectors.
What did Fleuret say its platform does?
Fleuret said its system uses two AI agents, Emile and Champollion, to map environments, explore applications, APIs and infrastructure, and then attempt to exploit vulnerabilities they find. The company said each finding comes with proof showing how the vulnerability can be exploited, and that the platform keeps monitoring the attack surface so it can launch new tests when systems change.
The startup also said it is building remediation features, including exploitability-based prioritisation, integrations, automatic re-testing and verification reports. It framed the product as a response to changing systems and NIS2 requirements, which it said make continuous testing more important than periodic audits.
Who is backing the company?
Fleuret said the new round includes RAISE Ventures, Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind Capital, Better Angle and cybersecurity business angels. The company identified individual angels as executives and founders from Stoïk, GitGuardian, Vade and Almond.
In comments published with the announcement, RAISE Ventures’ Thibaut Schlaeppi said the firm believes Fleuret can become a European reference in offensive security. Auriga Cyber Ventures’ Georges Lotigier said Fleuret had already been chosen by major digital players.
Separate coverage from Les Echos said the round was led by Raise Ventures and reported participation from Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind Capital and Better Angle. Les Echos also said founder Yanis Grigy said the fundraising roadshow began on February 18 and received an investment proposal within a week.
What do we know about the founders and customers?
Fleuret said co-founders Yanis Grigy and Augustin Ponsin are graduates of Télécom Paris and EPITA, have known each other since childhood, previously started a penetration-testing company during preparatory classes and later refined the thesis in the X-HEC Entrepreneurs programme. Tech.eu also reported that Grigy is CEO and Ponsin is CTO.
At the time of the announcement, Fleuret said it had around ten employees and several customers, including Brevo, Stoïk and Yogosha. The company said it is targeting the European market and wants to make offensive security accessible to companies that cannot afford regular penetration tests.
Fleuret said the new funding will support hiring in AI, software engineering and offensive security, while speeding up platform development. The company said its agents are run from Europe on European infrastructure so they can meet sovereignty requirements in regulated sectors.
The company’s pitch is straightforward: replace periodic pentests with a system that can keep testing as environments change, and return results faster than a manual process. La Tribune reported that Fleuret claims its reports arrive in 48 to 72 hours rather than a month, and that the service costs about €4,000 versus €10,000 to €15,000. Those are company claims, but they help explain why Fleuret is positioning the product as a lower-friction option for European buyers that need ongoing offensive-security coverage.
