E2B said on Thursday that its annualized run rate has climbed to more than $100 million, though the company’s headline material and X post say $120 million ARR. The startup builds isolated cloud computers, or sandboxes, for AI agents to write code, browse the web, generate reports and build websites.
What did E2B say about its revenue milestone?
E2B said it had passed annualized run rate of either $100 million or $120 million, depending on which company material you read. The Business Wire release from E2B uses a headline that says the company passed $120 million in annualized run rate, while the body of the release says $100 million ARR. E2B’s X account post announcing the milestone also said the company had passed $120 million ARR.
The company said its annualized run rate was up from $8 million one year earlier. E2B did not provide additional revenue details in the material reviewed here.
What does E2B sell to AI builders?
E2B provides isolated cloud computers for AI agents, a product the company says gives agents their own computer to complete tasks. In practice, that means sandboxes that can be used for writing code, browsing the web, generating reports or building websites.
Sacra described E2B as a San Francisco company in cloud infrastructure and AI frameworks, and said its product gives AI agents isolated cloud computers to run code, use browsers and work with files. E2B also describes itself on X as building "Machines for AI agents."
How is E2B describing its product and scale?
E2B said on X that its infrastructure "scales with your agents," and in a November 4 post it said one line of code can start a sandbox and that the system can scale to thousands of sandboxes. In another post, the company said its CTO and cofounder discussed how E2B runs agents "anywhere, at any scale."
The company has also said Fireworks fine-tunes and serves open models quickly, while E2B gives agents on those models a full Linux machine to run code, use tools, analyze data and browse the web. E2B said its next focus is to make agents easier to build, run and scale.
What new infrastructure did E2B announce?
E2B announced Workload Identity on Nov. 3 and said every sandbox now gets a signed identity so the backend knows exactly which sandbox is calling and what it can access. The company said the feature removes the need to distribute or rotate long-lived credentials.
E2B said Workload Identity is generally available on E2B Cloud and supported in BYOC, or bring your own cloud. The feature is part of the company’s push to make its sandboxes easier to secure and manage for AI agent workloads.
Who is using E2B?
E2B said nearly 200,000 teams use its platform and that 94 of the Fortune 100 have signed up. Those are company-reported usage figures, and the company did not break out how many of those teams are active customers, pilots or enterprise trials in the material reviewed here.
In the same X post announcing the milestone, E2B said the company started in a Prague apartment and named founders Martin Lejva and co_valenta. The company also said it had passed $120 million ARR in its pinned X post.
